Shop opens amid construction

BATAVIA – Kendall Ertz would have preferred to sell her coffee drinks with a little less construction.
But for the past month, Ertz and her mother, Maureen Mares, have operated Limestone Coffee and Tea, working to stay afloat amid the constant stream of work that continues on Batavia’s Wilson Street Bridge.
“We are really looking forward to when the bridge work ends,” Ertz said. “But we’re building up a great crew of regulars, who come in here all the time, and all things considered, I think we’re doing OK.”
